This is so lovely.
Earlier this week a man from Cornwall in the UK sent out an appeal for people and dogs to join him in giving his dog Walnut a final walk on the beach.
Walnut the whippet was 18-years-old, which mean’t he had a very long life, but sadly he had to be put down by the vet on Saturday morning.
Walnut’s owner Mark Woods wanted to take the doggy on one special last walk on the beach, and asked for people and dogs for join him in celebration of Walnut’s life.
Mark said he was overwhelmed by the support he received from fellow dog owners.
On Saturday morning, before he took his best friend to the vet Mark set out on a walk with Walnut and he was joined by hundreds of supportive friends.
What a turn out! I love how people pull together in sad times. #walkwithwalnut pic.twitter.com/KGLdvwRolF
