Be very careful who you share information and images with.
A top modelling agency in the UK was warned young women to be very careful of fake modelling scouts.
Over 40 young women between the ages of 14 and 19 were contacted through Snapchat by someone claiming to be a representative of Base Models, a popular UK agency.
The Snapchat scammer asked young women to send pictures of themselves in underwear of swimming suits promising to help them earn up to £50,000.

Ellie McCandles (pictured) was approached by the Snapchat scammer and she immediately knew it didn’t seem right. She contacted Base Models who told her it was a scam.
The agency’s managing director said they would “never ask for models to conduct Skype interviews or supply videos of themselves in underwear or swimwear on social media.” Max Ridd told The Huffington Post.
He added:
“If a genuine modelling agency contacts you through social media, it will be backed by an invitation to contact or visit the agency directly,” he said.
“Promises of thousands of pounds of earning are also a warning sign.”
