This is the kind of story you never want to come across.

A young boy has been left broken hearted after his mother’s remains were discovered beside a motorway last Thursday. Reece Dunne, wrote the letter to his mum, 29-year-old Ellia Arathoon.

Reece’s mother Ellia had been missing for eight days before her body was discovered.

In a note released by Mercury Press, Reece writes:

“To mummy, I love you a million times around the world.”

“I wish you didn’t die.”

“I remember playing with you and that made me happy.”

“I know you are an angel now and you can see me all the time.”

“I feel sad but I’m going to be brave, love Reece.”

Tributes continue to pour in for the woman with flowers and cards being left at the spot where her body was discovered.

Reece’s dad John Dunne told The Sun that Reece and his mum were extremely close.

“Ellia used to do everything with him – the bond they had together was just remarkable really.

“She used to say to him ‘it’s me and you against the world’.

“I had to tell him that his mummy was now an angel in heaven and that she’s always looking over him now every day and that she’ll look out for him.

“We talked about the different things that he remembers, we both sat down and what’s in that letter is what he said.”

Details of the young mothers death remain unknown.
