Hollywood legend John Travolta has vowed he will look after the family of tragic Sopranos actor James Gandolfini.
Fifty-nine-year-old Travolta spoke out yesterday and said his friend Gandolfini was there to support him when his autistic son Jett suffered a fatal seizure aged just 16 in 2009.
Sopranos star Gandolfini died aged 51 in Rome this week. He is survived by his wife Deborah Lin and their daughter Liliana, just eight months old.
They were in Italy on a break as he was teaching his son from his first marriage, thirteen-year-old Michael, about his Italian roots.

Hollywood star John Travolta lost his son four years ago.
Pulp Fiction star Travolta said: “My goal is to make sure his family is OK. His little boy, I watched him grow up, and his brand new little girl. We’ll just make sure they’re taken care of.”
The friends worked together on Lonely Hearts, Get Shorty and The Taking Of Pelham 123.
Travolta added, “My father sold tyres to his father. I was his inspiration to get into the business.”
It has been confirmed that 21-stone Gandolfini died of a heart attack.
