Research carried out with college students showed that those who had sex once or twice a week had 30% higher levels of infection-fighting antibodies than did their classmates who chose not to have sex. Sex works to boost the production of hormones that protect the body against infection.

That movie cliché where the man falls asleep immediately afterwards? Don’t blame him – it’s nature! Oxytocin is a hormone released during orgasm that actually promotes sleep, so once you’re sated you’re far more likely to happily slip off to dreamland.
