The summer heat seems to be driving people mad! A branch of Tesco in the UK has banned scantily clad customers from their store because they’re a “health and safety risk.”
Stocking up on barbecue and booze, large groups of “half-naked” men and women headed to a Devon store during a recent warm spell in the country, much to the dismay of the company.
Top dogs at the Tesco branch say that the lack of clothing on their customers is an “embarrassment” and dangerous to food produce as the might sweat onto fresh produce.
They have since imposed a strict dress code following complaints to the manager.
Tesco’s ban, put into action last week, also bans people from wandering into the premises in bare feet.
“As we see glimpses of the summer weather, we’ve decided that it’s sensible to ask customers to wear t-shirts and footwear in store” said a Tesco spokesman.

Obviously scantily clad men and women are good in some situations, but this certainly isn’t one of them!
