The British actress passed away at the age of 90.
Jean Alexander has died today in Southport in the UK.
The actress, known to many for playing the iconic role of Hilda Ogden for 23 years on long-running soap, Coronation Street, has died, 3 days after her 90th birthday.
According to The Mirror, the octogenarian was taken to hospital on Tuesday after feeling unwell before passing today, the 14th October.
People took to Twitter to remember the hilarious actress who was one of the cornerstones of Coronation Street.
