This brilliant flash mob in an Irish hospice shows you can have fun at any age

It's great

Rebecca Keane

If we end up like these jolly jivers than we’ll be a happy bunch.

Here at Her.ie we love a good flashmob – they’re always guaranteed to put a smile on our faces.

Earlier today we saw a ladies gaelic team surprise their friend Chloe on her wedding day with a flashmob to a Bruno Mars’/Riverdance megamix. Yes, really.

Another group of people who have delighted us with an unreal flash mob is a Dublin hospice, all thanks to their rendition of the Macarena.

Laura McDaid got in touch with us to share the video which shows the residents and staff of Our Lady’s Hospice in Harold’s Cross Co. Dublin.

As part of Positive Ageing Week, everyone got together and gave a rocking rendition of the Macarena which included every person, whether they could stand sit or walk.

The result is just wonderful.

Thanks to Laura Mc Daid for sending this in, if you have something you’d like to share with us, get us on Twitter here, on Facebook here or you can drop a line to hello@her.ie.
