You couldn’t make it up. Literally.
At Your Service host Francis Brennan was on last night’s The Late Late Show, and during his segment he decided to show the audience the correct way to put a cover on a duvet.
Well, let’s just say it didn’t go according to plan.
He had warned us in advance that he was going to be showing us his skills.
Fancy some bed making tips! Watch the @latelateshow tonight!

And he should know what he’s talking about, giving his profession, and also the fact that he’s just brought out a line of bed clothing for Dunnes.

Francis started confidently enough. “First, turn the cover inside out,” Francis advised. Sound advice.
And just so we were all clear, he explained: “This is a duvet cover everybody.”
Gotcha.
“Now, take the two corners of the duvet and put one corner all the way to the top. Then, on the other side, all the way to the corner…”
And that’s when the whole thing started to fall apart.
The baffled/bemused audience knew Francis was making a balls of the operation – look at their faces!

Francis seemed to be getting his duvet corners mixed up, and it was just getting embarrassing for all concerned. At that point, someone in the audience shouted out, ‘Do you need a hand Francis?!’
Even though he refused help, Ryan Tubridy dragged an audience member named Amy onto the stage to help.
Amy then proceeded to school Francis on how to properly make up a duvet set, telling him that he’d started all wrong.

People at home were cracking up too.
Fair play to Francis Brennan.. Put my back out changing a quilt cover a few times #latelate
