Once Mel and Sue threw in the kitchen towel, there was no shortage on names thrown around as replacements.
We mean everyone, from the Chuckle Brothers to Anna Richardson and even Jon Snow.
And now that Mary Berry has also announced that she has left, the pressure is on to find some truly brilliant people to keep the show alive.
The latest rumoured presenter, however, is one we can get excited about.
Former Spice Girls legend Geri Horner could be the new host of the baking show according to reports.
According to the Sun a source said, “Geri is a bit of a curveball idea, but an intriging one all the same.”
“She has always been a huge supporter of Bake Off but bosses face a tough ask to get her on board.”
Any long term fans of the show will remember that Geri appeared on the sports relief celebrity version of the show and even won.
“She’s got relatively little presenting experience and has big music commitments.
“But it’s the only show that might tempt her to host.”
Fans of Ginger Spice will know that the star is a huge fan of baking and that her Instagram is filled with pictures and videos of her treats.
