Is Calvin giving Taylor a taste of her own medicine?
Calvin and Taylor’s relationship and then nasty breakup has to be one of the most talked about in years. They appeared so happy and in love before breaking up suddenly only for her to move on to another guy weeks after they split.
We can no doubt expect to see some new material from Taylor which deals with the breakup but it appears Calvin might just have beaten her to it.
Fan think that his latest release, My Way, is directed at his ex with the lyrics repeating, “You were the one thing in my way.”
They also include, “Why wait to say, at least I did it my way? Lie awake two faced, but in my heart I understand. I made my move and it was all about you. I feel so far removed. You are the one thing in my way.”
Speaking to iHeartRadio yesterday he spoke about the meaning for his lyrics saying:
“[The] song’s kind of about breaking out of a situation that you thought was a good thing. Then you’re way more comfortable out of it.
And it could be anything. It could be a job or it could be a relationship. I kind of had the idea for the concept for a few years, but I didn’t know how to work out how it sounded.”

After hearing the lyrics his fans are jumping to conclusions that it’s about Taylor.
