They are not impressed.
Earlier today This Morning, with Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, teased that they would be revealing the new presenters of The Great British Bake Off.
Yesterday it was revealed that Mel and Sue will no longer host the popular show when it moves from The BBC to Channel 4 next year. They said that they would have remained if it had stayed on the BBC.
A number of big names had already been suggested for their replacement so when The Morning said they were going to announce who it was there was a lot of interest.

But then when Philip and Holly came on the show to make the “announcement” it was a complete let down and a waste of time. All they did was confirm that they would not be hosting the show, rather than announce who would.

To say people are not impressed by this prank is an understatement.
@thismorning @hollywills @Schofe Oh. Hilarious. Nice attempt at getting extra viewers. This is why I won’t watch daytime telly.

@thismorning @hollywills @Schofe Impressive way to make people who don’t even watch your show dislike you. Not a very clever thing to do.

@thismorning @hollywills @Schofe puerile. Poor attempt to get viewers
