She is like ALL of us.
The saying goes that dogs are man’s best friend but there are plenty women who would disagree, saying that a pooch is their soulmate too.
One woman who is more than fond of her dog is analyst Karishma Walia.
Karishma Walia was in talks to have an arranged marriage to a man from New Delhi, but upon hearing that her husband-to-be didn’t like dogs, she abruptly refused.

Speaking to Buzzfeed, Karishma said her family were disappointed at her choice.
“My mom thought he’s an excellent match because he’s good-looking and well-off,” Walia told BuzzFeed. “There was a lot of family pressure, and they still think I did the wrong thing by raising the concern about my dog.”
Despite Karishma telling him the marriage was off, he continued to try and make her change her mind.
“He would say things like ‘family should be a priority and not career’,” Walia said. “I gave up when he commented about my dog. I don’t know why my family still thinks he’s an eligible bachelor.”
Who could blame her? That dog is ADORABLE.
