Although we had very high hopes for the young talented duo Jack Duff and Cormac Connell who made it to the semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent, the pair were voted off in favour of Gabz this evening.

The final three for the semi-final were Gabz, Jack and Cormac and Jack Carroll.

Carroll was the overall winner of the semi-final with the most votes which automatically qualified him for the final.

Judges David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden all voted for the young talented songwriter to stay over Jack and Cormac. Simon Cowell confirmed that he would have voted for the 15-year-old after it she got through on the judges majority.

Gabz commented on her win: “I feel really good, and I’d just like to say thank you to everyone who voted for me.”

Jack and Cormac gave a rendition of Taylor Swift’s I Knew You Were Trouble and were generally lauded by the judges. Amanda Holden told the boys: “I just want to scoop you up and give you a massive cuddle!”

Here was their first performance.
