#Instagramhusband shows the hilarious dedication it takes to be married to an Instagram lover

Can your other half relate to this?

Everyone loves Instragram, the pretty filters and easy editing means that any picture can be easily improved. But for some people, the perfect Insta-pic requires a lot more than just a filter, its all about angles, lighting, and the help of their reluctant husbands.

This is why the hashtag #Instagramhusband has started trending, with many men sharing their stories of how they had to wait to eat their breakfast because it was a good photo-op, or how they had to travel to a beach miles away from home, just so their girlfriends could show off a new outfit with the right backdrop.

The trend has even got its own Instagram account in which many husbands share their pain.

They know angles work best for their wives.

“DO NOT, under any circumstances, try to take a requested photo of your wife one-handed standing up. It MUST be with two hands and crouching is preferable for maximum stability.”

They know their child may be used as a prop.

“No, it’s not big deal honey- I’ll just hold our baby out at arms length for far too long while you try to get her to smile. No, you’re right, we NEED one more photo to post of her tonight.”

They have to move furniture and multitask.

“I had to move all the furniture around, hold the dog with one hand and take the pic with the other, while she gave me directions.”

New clothes means there will be a road trip.

“She got her new yoga bra in the mail so of course we had to drive to the beach for her first “workout” in it – funny, we don’t drive to the beach for my workouts and take a zillion pictures.”

The picture has to be perfect.

“Scheduled a photo shoot on Saturday for her blog and got all the way to the wall we scouted to take pictures, and she forgot her hat. Had to take the train 6 stops back and forth to get it because it ‘complimented the wall so well.'”

And probably the worst one, food choice is dictated by what makes a good picture.

“I wanted to order biscuits and gravy, but I was told they wouldn’t go with the color scheme. So I guess I like eggs now. Eggs with Sriracha.”

“We used to eat Fazzolis until I was told its not ‘grammable’ enough for date nights.”

We don’t envy these poor hungry men!
