New research has been released that suggests we Irish are absolute pros at getting in and out of the bathroom quickly. However, the same can’t be said of our European neighbours.
Apparently, the average Irish person spends about twenty minutes in the bathrooms, lower than the Germans, French and Italians who spend about 28 minutes in there. We are more in line with our UK neighbours who spend about the same amount of time as us preening themselves.

About 79% of those surveyed used their bathroom as a functional space, whether for showering, having a bath or getting ready to go out.
53% said they would like to see their bathroom as a more relaxing place, somewhere to de-stress and get away from the family.
The survey also found that most people prefer to use the shower instead of bath.
The average evening routine takes about ten minutes.
