Leonardo DiCaprio is quite the man really. Besides being an amazing actor and pretty good-looking (let’s be fair), he also likes to give a helping hand to various charities attempting to raise money.
However, his latest venture is simply out of this world. The star has been revealed as the mystery star who will go into space with the winning bid from an auction.
The fundraiser took place at the amfAR Cinema Against Aids 2013 in Cannes. The highest bid for the space trip came in at just over 1 million sterling, according to Digital Spy.
Vasily Klyukin from Russia was the winning bid and was overjoyed with his win: “I want to be a bit daring,” he commented. “I will have to give up smoking now for sure!”
Other stars who signed up for the events were Ashton Kutcher and Angelina Jolie.
We wouldn’t mind heading into space with Leo however.
