She’s has a Grammy, she has an Oscar, but there is one more thing Hudson wants you to know and that’s she has the spotlight.
Singer Jennifer Hudson came sixth the year she competed in the American Idol reality TV show, but that certainly didn’t stop her becoming successful.
The 31-year-old joined this year’s Candice Glover on the stage last night as part of the show’s star-duets-with-contestant segment. But Hudson wasn’t going to be forgotten. The two singers gave it absolute socks, their vocals flawless, but the performance resulted in an almost-hilarious duet of Hudson tring to out-sing Glover.
They sang Natalie Cole’s Inseparable… and it just took them a little while to finish up. In fact, we think Hudson may have realised it as she coaxed Candice to finish the song…
It reminded us a little of this Bridesmaids scene… Hashtag awkward.
