Well, that will teach them not to comment.
A Twitter user thought it was a good idea to take a photo of a random couple who appeared to be ignoring each other while out for dinner.
In the tweet, they said, “Homegirl… Leave him.”

A lot of people were also quick to criticise the couple with one person saying, “He looks young and immature and she’s reading the menu. This shows what a lot of relationships now days probably look like.”
After it went viral, the guy in the photo spotted it and politely commented back with the reason why they were not speaking to each and it well and truly put them in their place.
He said, “That’s my girlfriend. I just preached my first sermon, she recorded it and wanted me to watch what she recorded. Thanks.”
@ItzSimplymike that’s my girlfriend. I just preached my first sermon, she recorded it and wanted me to watch what she recorded. Thanks

His girlfriend also tweeted a response.

After she realised that her tweet had backfired she tried to defend it by saying she wasn’t judging their relationship.
My tweet wasn’t malicious, it was relatable! I was never coming 4 someone else’s relationship.
