Human skull found in Dublin back garden

The discovery was made on Tuesday evening, according to reports.

A human skull has been found in the back garden of a Co.Dublin home.

It’s believed that the incident happened on Tuesday evening, in the Killakee area of Firhouse.

According to RTÉ, a man was tending to the garden of his home when he made the shocking discovery.

Early indications suggest that the skull could have been at the property for as long as 70 years and it is that of an adult aged between 18 and 40 years.

Gardaí attended the scene as did a forensic anthropologist and staff from the Office of the State Pathologist.

The scene is currently undergoing a technical examination.
