Just think of the CRAIC there’d be.

Following om from the good spirits of last night’s Irish win, it’s no surprise that people are getting excited for the next challenge the boys in green face.

Last night’s triumphant 1-0 win against Italy has brought Ireland through to the last 16 countries to compete for the final and the hope amongst the Irish fans in France is truly inspiring.

Being the celebratory species we are, many viewers of the glorious match have been left with sore heads after a heavy night on the lemonade.

Sunday looks to be another night of celebration should the Irish team win over their old nemesis, France.

It comes as great news then, that for fans hoping to watch the match, relax with mates and have a few beers, there may be a special event organised to watch the highly anticipated showdown with France on Sunday.

Spotted on JOE.ie, Brendan Howlin of the Labour party has asked the Government to create a space for fans to watch the big game.

Considering it’s Ireland’s first major knock-out game in fourteen years, the importance of the event to be duly recognised is ever present.

Tánaiste Frances Fitzgerald has weighed in with the same opinion, suggesting an event similar to the revealing of the marriage referendum results in Dublin Castle.

People on Twitter can’t wait for the idea to come to fruition.
