It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Ireland became the first country to legalise marriage equality by popular vote.
It was a proud time for our small nation but a moment that had been brewing thanks to the tireless efforts of campaigners and activists.
Last year we reflected on the success of the YES campaign and met with Katherine Zappone, Anne Louise Gilligan, Rory O’Neill, Una Mullally and Joe Caslin to comprehend the elements of the campaign that change Ireland.
