Superman seemed to be the last big superhero that was getting any sort of a reboot on the silver screen. The big studios had already made it through Batman, Spiderman, the Avengers and even the Green Lantern but the Man of Steel had not really been touched, partially due to the fact that Superman Returns didn’t really do the business they were expecting at the box office.
But Warner Brothers are using a superhero tried and tested formula: Christopher Nolan. Considering the massive loss Zack Snyder made with his last film Sucker Punch, there was no way he was going to be left unsupervised for his next project and so the big guns (Nolan) were rolled in as Producer.
We have to admit, they have done something right. This is all looking pretty spectacular…
