Eastenders has been going through a lot of changes of late and the latest star who has been axed as a result of them will be Chucky Venn, who plays the Square’s Ray Dixon.
Ray, the real father of Bianca’s son Morgan Butcher and former boyfriend of Walford favourite Kim Fox, will be departing the show in June of this year. He will depart Albert Square in order to look after his daughter Sasha when her mother falls ill.

In a statement released to Digital Spy, Venn commented: “Working on EastEnders has been one of my career highlights and an invaluable experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with and have found a life-long friend in my on-screen partner Tameka. I want to thank everyone who supported me on the show.”
A source from Eastenders was quick to add that the door has been left open for Ray, as he will always have his link to the show through Morgan.
