Bell X1 are one of the stalwarts of the Irish music scene, and their popularity has endured over their many years together as a band.
As musicians, they were naturally devastated to hear of the loss of Prince earlier this week, so they decided to pay tribute to the late star at their Vicar Street gig last night.
Reader Laura sent us in this clip of the guys paying tribute to the icon.
Lead singer Paul Noonan introduces the tribute saying “it’s okay to grieve for someone you’ve never met.”
