Traditionally white accessories have always been shunned by the fash pack, and although we saw a hint of white filter through to the high street last summer, this season the trend is going mainstream so there’s no reason not to get involved.
And, to be honest, with the weather dial stuck to blizzard like Arctic condtions, it’s easy to shun all the shiny, lovely, new season treats that are just crying out to be purchased.
Our own personal love for the white stiletto is enduring so we don’t need any more convincing, but if you take the ever style savvy Blake Lively’s latest ensemble into consideration, you’ll see why white accessories can work with winterwear too.
Just make sure to keep things classy, so look for structured, slightly minimalistic shapes and styles and avoid lots of embellishment or overtly plastic looking fabric. White accessories don’t have to be leather, but it helps!
