Clearly, he won’t be there for us.
Fans of Friends freaked out when they heard that the full cast would be getting together for a one-off special ‘reunion’.
Then further information came to light which confirmed that it was a tribute show for their director and that Mathew Perry wouldn’t be involved.
He couldn’t make it due to scheduling issues with a play he was performing in, in London. Nevertheless, the ‘reunion’ came and went and just to see five of the original cast back together ten years on delighted fans.
And now, Matthew Perry has had his say on the mini ‘reunion’ and Friends fan might want to look away now.
He wasn’t that bothered about not being a part of it.
The nerve!
When asked if he was sad to have missed it he told The Huffington Post, “Not really, because it really wasn’t a reunion.
“It was just six people getting together for a Jim Burrows special. It wasn’t really a reunion. And I couldn’t do it because I was in London doing my play.”
We know it wasn’t exactly a ground-breaking reunion, but he could have, at least, pretended he was gutted to have missed it. Right?
