There has been a considerable amount of speculation about the iPhone 7, particularly that the new model could lose the headphone jack.
However, there’s another rumour and this time, it’s about the camera, specifically improving the camera, hallelujah.
Ming-Chi Kuo, previously described as “the most accurate Apple analyst in the world’, is of the opinion that the new iPhone will have a dual-camera instead of the standard single one.
Spotted on Mac Rumours, the dual camera would incorporate two lenses: one similar to the current iPhone camera and a second that would be able to zoom in.
This video explains the technology behind the dual camera idea
This basically means that the new iPhone would take unbelievable photos, akin to that of your fancy SLR models.
Kuo also notes that the new and very snazzy camera would only feature on the 5.5 screen model, i.e. the iPhone 7 Plus.
At this stage, Apple need to confirm a release date. We need to see that phone in all its glory.
