Airbnb is having a major moment of late as it’s the cool hip way to bag yourself amazing accommodation for a reasonable price.
Its latest feature, spotted on MIC, might not please everyone though as the company has had to make change to its party policy.
Up until now, renters could establish their own rules when it came to having parties but not anymore.
There were a couple of mad sessions on New Year’s Eve and as a result, Airbnb has added a new feature which allows neighbours to issue complaints.
The customer support team will now moderate the platform and take action where appropriate.
Overall, it’s actually a great move as it should minimise the risk of renters having their property damaged.
Party animals might not view it the same way though.
