UK Hospital Releases Announcement After A&E is Overrun By People Eating Too Many Easter Eggs

Cassie Delaney

It seems UK Hospitals were forced to released a public safety announcement asking people to stop over populating their A&E department.

The post highlights how the hospital services were overrun by people complaining of tummy aches from eating too many Easter eggs.

The post shared on Facebook asks over-indulgers to stay at home and rest.

It reads:

“Believe it or not, we do have people coming into A&E with stomach aches caused by over-indulgence.

If you’ve had one too many Easter eggs and a big Sunday dinner, you’re likely to feel better after a rest at home and drinking plenty of water.

Some pharmacies are open this evening if you do require indigestion or other remedies for stomach problems.”

It also provides some links and information for those suffering from minor injuries.

The post has attracted some scathing comments with Facebook users sharing their thoughts.

“What a waste of NHS resources. Exercise some self-discipline for goodness sake” writes one user with other offering some non-medical advice.

“Not being a greedy pig works well too,” said one.
