Papaw won the hearts of the internet recently when an image of him appearing sad went viral.
An image of Papaw went viral when his granddaughter Kelsey tweeted the photo saying that she was the only grandchild that showed up to dinner, despite Papaw making 12 burgers.
Thankfully the photo wasn’t all it seemed with Papaw confirming that the image was misleading.
“I wasn’t like the picture showed, I have a solemn look sometimes, people say I don’t smile enough, but it’s my personality,” he said with a twinkle in his eye.
“When I have a cook out everybody is invited and it was mainly because of Kelsey being out of school.
“It was gonna be burger night, a get together with the grandkids. I wanted everybody to be there but I don’t get upset about things” he said.
Anyway, Papaw decided to host a cook out to thank everyone for being nice to him on the internet. By the looks of things it was a massive success.
