The body of a woman was been found on the rocks at a Dublin bay yesterday morning (Thursday 24th March.)
The woman was found at Scotsmans Bay in Sandycove yesterday morning and is believed to have died by drowning.
According to The Irish Independent, Gardaí do not believe the body was in the water for a long period of time.
The woman is described as between 50 to 60 years of age and between 5’4” to 5’6” in height with red hair.
She was wearing a purple coat, light blue fleece, a red shirt, dark purple jeans, navy socks and brown size 40 boots with her fingernails painted purple.
Gardai have appealed for anyone who may know the identity of the woman or who may have any relevant information to contact Dun Laoghaire Garda Station 01 666 5000.
