Getting To The Crunch: Five Tips You Didn’t Know About For Super Healthy Skin

A few tips to have you GLOWING...

Rebecca McKnight

Part of being healthy is having that enviable glow and a big part of that is having a proper skincare regime.

But how many of us know how to take care of our skin properly? Today, we’re Getting To The Crunch in association with Special K Cracker Crisps, and spilling the beans on some skincare tips you didn’t know about.

Include these into your daily beauty regime and get ready for the compliments!

1. Massage It

Massage isn’t just for backs, it’s great for skin too. A facial massage can help stimulate fibroblasts in the skin to release collagen and restore elasticity. Result? Younger looking skin…

2. Clean It

Never put on your makeup or use skincare products without washing your hands first. Our hands are carrying around billions of bacteria at an given time and these get transferred onto our faces easily.

3. Start It

There’s no such thing as waiting until you consider yourself “old” to start using anti-ageing creams. Did you know your skin is already ageing in your early twenties? Scary. Why not start using an anti-ageing cream now? A 20-year-old loses collagen in their face at the same rate as a 40-year-old. Use a product and help delay signs of ageing.

4. Slather It

If you think you’re done with the moisturiser, slather on more. Always moisturise a little bit more than you think you need to. Apply moisturiser to your skin straight after a shower when your skin is still damp.

5. Soak It

If you’re applying creams or moisturisers to your face, always make sure your pores are open. This will mean you’ll get the full benefit of the product because your skin can absorb it better. The best way to open your pores up is to soak a face cloth in hot or warm water and let it rest on your face for a few moments.

Getting To The Crunch is brought to you in association with Special K Cracker Crisps.
