Dennis Williams and his brother Deorick were hanging out when they received a text from an unknown number.
It was clear they had been added to a group chat mistakenly. The text read:
“We are at the hospital. Having a baby today! She has dilated to between 5-6 [cm].”
Dennis replied with his congratulations but stated that they had the wrong number.
An ecstatic grandmother completely ignored that information and proceeded to send an image of the newborn.
Dennis, obviously a fan of infants, swiftly replied:
“Well, I don’t know y’all, but me and the boys will be through to take a picture with the baby.”
The exchange then confirmed the location of the new mother and the boys sure enough headed off for a picture with the baby.
Lindsey Lashley and husband Mark were delighted with their new pals and shared the image saying:
“They were so sweet and kind to do this!”
“You two are great guys and thank you for giving to someone you didn’t know! If we all only had this kind of heart.”
