The Weekend Forecast Is In And We Know Where We’re Planning A Roadtrip

Please let this continue.

Cathy Donohue

It’s almost too good to be true.

Paddy’s Day was bright and sunny and if reports are to be believed, we’re set for more of the same over the weekend.

Although clouds are expected tomorrow morning, the rest of the day is likely to be sunny, particularly in the south and southwest – ideal for a road trip to the Ring of Kerry.

Temperatures between 10 and 13 degrees are expected but cooler conditions will prevail on north and east facing coasts.

According to Met Éireann, we’ll see more of the same on Sunday, i.e. a dry and sunny day with light winds in places.

Overall, the outlook for the weekend is “clear spells in most areas”.

The good news is that this is likely to continue until Tuesday and although there could be some rain on Wednesday, Thursday is expected to pick up.

If this continues, we’ll get the barbecue out before long…roll on summer!
