Repeat – there are spoilers in this piece about Grey’s Anatomy.
So if you’re up to date with Grey’s Anatomy you know that Meredith recently lost her husband Derek Shepherd. The storyline saw Meredith pull the plug on Derek’s life support machine without the consent of his family.
This lead to a lot of tension between Meredith and Derek’s sister, Amelia, who was upset that she never got to say goodbye.
The folks over at Buzzfeed have pointed out a rather spooky scene from the first series which mirrors this storyline.
Redditor Saskatchewanbr noticed that in season 1 episode 2, Derek and Meredith are talking about a person in a coma and Derek says, “I have four sisters… If I were in a coma, they’d all be here. I’d want them here.”
Was this a plan for future storylines or a just major coincidence?
