Rebel Wilson is human and humans make mistakes.
Sadly the actress has just made a pretty bad one that reflects quite negatively on her character.
Taking to Twitter yesterday, the star tweeted about an incident where a journalist supposedly hassled her grandmother for a quote.
Wilson identified the journalist as Elizabeth Wilson and called her total scum.
If your name is Elizabeth Wilson and you work for ACP Magazines, just know that you are a disgrace for harassing my sweet, sick grandma.

She didn’t stop there, however.
Posting a photo, she identified the journalist writing: Here she is – total scum.
The problem was the Elizabeth Wilson in the photo was not in any way related to an incident with Rebel’s grandmother.

Twitter users quickly demanded that Rebel apologises for the mistake while many remarked that it was a shady thing to share the image at all in the first place.
@RebelWilson You don’t have to apologise for the treatment of your grandma. You do need to apologise to the innocent lady you victimised.
