The aptly named update from Snapchat arrived this week and now you can get creative when it comes to sending fellow Snapchatters birthday greetings.
If you want to avail of the feature, you just turn on the ‘Birthday Party setting’.
Here, you’ll have the option of adding a ‘one day only’ filter that you can add to individual snaps or your story, if you want to let everyone know that you’re having the best birthday, which isn’t for everyone.
Also, if remembering birthdays isn’t your strong point, then you’ll love the update because a little cake emoji will now appear beside any friends celebrating the year of their birth.
If you double tap on the friend whose birthday it is, you’ll be able to snap them with a special filter reserved for birthday fun.
