An Post are good lads and pretty damn good at their jobs. And despite the introduction of Eircode to make the system more sophisticated, few postal users seem to have adopted it. And why should they when we have postmen like this.
Alan Freeman’s full address is Knockroe, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon F45 XP85, yet the letter below made its way to his house despite the exclusion of his name, Eircode or the first defining line of his address.
Sent in to our bros at JOE, this is the letter that made its way to its owner.
That’s a pretty impressive feat.
