We love Snapchat but we HATE the fact that it literally eats your phone battery.
However, there is a simple hack to stop the app zapping battery life (and data) – BEST. NEWS. EVER.
Stuff.co.nz alerted us to the tip, all you have to do is open additional services in your Snapchat settings and here you’ll see an option to turn on Travel Mode.
Travel Mode is somewhat of a secret, we didn’t know anything about it and enabling it means your snaps will only load when you tap on them.
It’s obviously going to be a lot slower than usual but if it means your battery lasts longer (and data charges are a little less) we’re totally on board.
