Arthur Simpson-Kent has been charged with the murder of his partner Sian Blake and their two children, Zachary and Amon.

Following his return from Ghana to the UK today, Simpson-Kent was charged and he is expected to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court later today.

The Independent reports that Simpson-Kent was arrested by Metropolitan Police officers at Heathrow Airport after agreeing to extradition from Ghana.

Ms Blake and her two sons were last seen on December 13th 2015 and police found their bodies buried in the garden of their home on January 5th.

Scotland Yard is currently under investigation for how it handled the missing person inquiry and why it took three weeks to find the bodies of Sian, Zachary and Amon.

Ms Blake played Frankie Pierre in Eastenders from 1996 to 1997 and at the time of her death, she was suffering from motor neurone disease.
