Disturbing footage of a fatal shooting at The Regency Hotel in Drumcondra this afternoon has emerged online.
One man was shot dead, while three men were injured after multiple shots were fired at a boxing weigh-in around 2.30pm.
Witnesses said three gunmen dressed in Garda style uniforms entered the hotel carrying AK47 assault rifles. It has since been confirmed that contrary to reports, the gunmen entered the premises carrying handguns.
The injured parties are in the Mater and Beaumont hospitals.

According to The Irish Times, plain clothed Gardaí and armed detectives stayed local to the weigh-in, as there was a security concern due to an expected gangland presence at the sporting event.
Reporting from the scene, UTV news editor Mick McCaffrey tweeted that the deceased was a 35-year old man from Crumlin:

The scene is sealed off and Gardaí are appealing for information from the public regarding the incident.
