Although January may be coming to an end, it seems like there’s no finish line in sight in terms of the deluge of terrible weather we’ve been experiencing over the winter period.
Met Éireann have issued a national yellow wind warning to take effect this evening from 9pm until 9am Friday morning. Southwest winds will reach mean speeds of 50 to 60 km/h gusting 90 to 110 km/h overnight on Thursday night and in to Friday morning.
There’s also an orange marine gale warning in place for all coastal waters in the country.
