A homeless man who ran into some health difficulties was rescued by the emergency services after his dog notified a stranger that something was wrong.

The man reportedly was unable to move but managed to attach a note to his pet’s collar.

This was the note that the man wrote.

According to Kiro 7 (a Seattle television station) the note read: “Help. Send help. No joke. Cannot Walk. Medicine not working. Need doctor.”

His dog Buddy ran off and came across a woman, walking her dog, who read the note and dialled 911.

Buddy ended up saving his owner’s life.

Despite not knowing the man’s location, the police and ambulance services were aware that a homeless person lived in the area and eventually found him.

He was then taken to hospital and treated before being discharged. Friends are said to be taking care of him and life-saver Buddy.
