An adult film star who has been accused of raping his ex-girlfriend and sexually assaulting nine other co-stars has scooped two ‘Porn Oscars’ at the Adult Video News Awards.
James Deen picked up two gongs for best group sex scene and best double penetration sex scene after receiving 33 total nominations.
The awards come in the wake of a string of rape allegations made against the star by his ex-girlfriend and fellow adult film actor Stoya.
Stoya took to Twitter, posting in November:
That thing where you log in to the internet for a second and see people idolizing the guy who raped you as a feminist. That thing sucks.

James Deen held me down and fucked me while I said no, stop, used my safeword. I just can’t nod and smile when people bring him up anymore.

Deen, who was often praised for being an outspoken feminist and supporter of women’s rights in the industry has denied the allegations, but since Stoya’s announcement, at least nine more women have come forward claiming they were sexually assaulted by Deen both on and off-set.
An investigation is ongoing.
The porn actor was nominated for ‘Best Male Performer’ – but missed out on the award on the night. According to Time Magazine, the actor said of the nomination:
“Male performer of the year—that’s kind of all I care about.
“I could be nominated for everything else, but that’s the one that always means the most to me. Because it’s the thing that I love to do the most . . . perform.”
