Parents are enraged after children participating in an anti-bullying workshop at a middle school in Pennsylvania were forced to answer highly personal questions that made them bullying targets.
The students participating in The Kindness Workshops were asked to form a circle and enter. There they were made answer highly personal questions ranging from their religion, their parents’ financial and educational backgrounds, drug and alcohol use, and whether the kids were gay or not.
The Associated Press reports the school Superintendent Jerri Lynn Lippert said “the ‘Kindness Workshop’ was created with good intentions but had unintended consequences.”
