Not travelling enough has come top of a list of regrets felt by the over 50s, beating other big regrets over relationships, careers and healthy choices.
It seems that when we hit the half a century mark (just to make you feel even older), we’d like to look back and see how often we got out into the big bad world and experienced it all.
Failure to travel enough was cited as a top regret by 91 per cent of more than 2,000 adults over the age of 50, polled by sunshine.co.uk.
But it’s not just hopping on a plane that will make you content with yourself, you should be using now to make the career choices you’ll be pleased with in the future (the second biggest regret was bad career choices) and getting your love life on the right track (bad love choices came in third).
Paying attention to your health and keeping fit came up also came up as a big concern.
Having children too late was only a regret for eight per cent of people, while 27 per cent regretted having them too early.
