Of all the storylines in Friends, we never thought of this one.
As you all know, Phoebe and Joey never hooked up in Friends. They did kiss once or twice but were never a couple. Matt LeBlanc has recently revealed that he had other plans for the characters.
He admitted to People magazine that he suggested to the director that they should hook up.
He said, “Towards the end we actually pitched the idea that Joey and Phoebe had been having casual sex the entire time. We’d go back and shoot all the historical scenes and just before a moment that everyone recognises, there’s Joey and Phoebe coming out of a broom closet together. But they were like, ‘Nah.'”
Only yesterday we found out about a Friends reunion. We cannot wait for that.
