People have been sharing their glasses stories.
A very cute video of a little baby getting glasses for the first time has been shared to Imgur and as a result people have been sharing their own stories of when they got their glasses for the first time.
The person who shared the video said, “I was about 19 when I could see clearly… it was awesome. This kid’s reaction is priceless.”

This person could relate, “I was 8 months old. Mom tells me I spent most of the day touching her face because I had never really seen her before.”
Another person said, “I was in 2nd grade. Saw a tree across the small lot when we stepped outside and freaked out. My mom cried cuz she hadn’t known I was blind.”
This person reminisced about the first time they got glasses, “I sat on the porch and stared at individual blades of grass & leaves on trees for a whole afternoon when I first got glasses.”
Another added, “My parents realized i needed glasses when I pointed to a “turkey” in a field, which turned out to be a deer.”
It wasn’t until the age of 11 that this person got glasses, “I was 11 and I remember walking outside and seeing the individual leaves on the trees and each tree on the mountainside. Still amazed.”
