David Bowie’s wife, Iman Abdulmajid, posted a series of heartfelt tweets in the days leading up to his passing.
It was sadly confirmed today that David Bowie lost an eighteen month battle with cancer aged 69.

Although the family kept the artist’s cancer battle private, members of the music industry suspected something was wrong, despite the recent release of his album Blackstar.
In recent days, Iman, who married David in 1992, has posted some poignant tweets.
On January 9th, she posted an image reading: “sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory.”
